FAQ
How long does a job post last?
Both Standard and Featured listings run for 30 days from the date of publication. Need more time? Just repost.
Can I edit my listing after posting?
Yes — you can update the title, description, requirements, and salary range anytime from your employer dashboard. You can't change the outlet or posting tier after submission.
Who sees my job posting?
Everyone on NewsBro — journalists actively browsing, people who've set up beat or medium alerts, and subscribers who get our weekly digest.
How do I receive applications?
Through your employer dashboard. You'll get an email notification for each application, and you can move applicants through stages: Pending, Reviewed, Shortlisted, or Hired.
What's the difference between Standard and Featured?
Featured listings sit at the top of search results and browse pages, have a visual "Featured" badge, and get priority placement in our email digests. If you want to stand out in a competitive field, go Featured.
Do you offer discounts for nonprofits or indie outlets?
Yes — reach out via our contact page and we'll sort you out. We want real journalism to thrive, not just the big players.
